Bubbie's pickles or other jar pickle juice.
1 cup raw cashews
1 bunch of fresh dill
1-2 tsps nutritional yeast
Sea salt to taste
Soak cashews in water in the fridge over night or if you don't have time put boiling water over them and let them sit on the counter for at least 2 hours.
Drain the cashews and place in a blender.
Add enough pickle liquid to cover the cashews (if you don't have enough add water).
Add the nutritional yeast--if you aren't a fan you can leave it out.
Chop up a handful of fresh dill and add it in.
Blend and taste. Add salt, pepper and nutritional yeast to taste.
If it is too thick, add more pickle water.
Store in the fridge
This is a huge household favorite, it is great as a dip, a spread or a salad dressing. It is much healthier than traditional ranch and the Bubbie's pickles have actual live cultures in the liquid so they add the health benefits of fermented foods!
